Hello and welcome to Spreadsheetables! I am SO excited that you are here!
Before we do a deep dive into the world of Google Sheets and how this simple but powerful tool can help us become masters of productivity, I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little about my eCommerce journey that has led me to creating this brand.
Hi! I’m Andreia! Graphic designer, spreadsheets enthusiast, small business owner and mom to two amazing boys!
My Ecommerce Journey
Along with all the things listed above, I’m also a serial entrepreneur!
I’ve been testing the ecommerce waters since 2013 when I had my first son, but only took it serious back in 2019, when I created Unbox A Party.
That was my first official business. Born out of a necessity, what was meant to be just a small online party shop has grown and turned into a fascinating and exciting business venture!
I successfully shipped over 12000 orders in a 2-year timeframe, on my own, while being a mom and working a 9-5 office job. I’ve also made a ton of mistakes and learned valuable lessons along the way. In the end, I am proud to say that I was able to maintain a 5-star rating on Etsy along with many lovely and encouraging messages from my customers!
But let me tell you, building a business from nothing is hard work. Between brainstorming new products, figuring out how to set up a new website, learning about SEO, listing the products, shipping orders, while doing all of the customer service, I found myself working, non-stop, day and night. Rain or shine. Monday through Monday.
Necessity is the mother of invention
This year, after my boys begged me to spend more quality time with them, I knew I desperately needed to come up with a better system to split my attention between my business and my family.
I needed to streamline my processes in order to increase productivity, see faster results and SELL MORE while working much less.
So, I went on a mission to come up with something, anything, that would help me work smarter, not harder. I didn’t want to give my business up now that it started to take off, but I also didn’t want to compromise family time.
Time is flying, I’m getting older, my kids are growing faster than bamboo and I didn’t want to miss out on their childhood because “Mommy was working day and night on her business”.
And that’s how Spreadsheetables was born: by joining my love for spreadsheets with my desire to create a system that would solve my pain points as a business owner and in life in general, to help me get more organized.
